DaCakeFund is more than a fundraiser. It’s a movement built around one simple idea: everyone deserves a reason to smile.

  • DaCakeFund is the community-powered fund behind my dream of building a bakery — and the cakes I give away along the way.

    The long-term vision is to create a physical space where people can come together through food, creativity and community.

    Through DaCakeFund, supporters can contribute towards cakes that are gifted to strangers, community members and people nominated by others. Your contribution can help put a cake in someone's hands who may never have expected it.

    Because sometimes, you don't need to change someone's whole life. Sometimes you just need to make their day.

  • Because joy should be shared. A lot of fundraising focuses on solving huge problems. And those problems matter. But I also believe there is value in creating small moments of happiness in the middle of everyday life.

    A cake can be a celebration. A cake can be a thank-you. A cake can be a way of saying "I'm glad you're here." And sometimes, a cake can arrive at exactly the right moment. DaCakeFund allows us to create more of those moments — together.

Use this form to nominate someone you think deserves a cake. It could be a friend who has always been there for you, a family member going through a difficult time, someone who has achieved something amazing, or simply a stranger whose story touched you.

Tell us who they are, why you think they deserve a cake, and what would make the moment special for them.

We’ll read every nomination and, where possible, choose someone from the community to receive a surprise cake.
