DaCakeGuy (formerly DaCakeGasm) began with my love for baking, but it quickly became about something much bigger — people, connection and creating moments of joy.
FROM MEDICINE TO CAKE - Before DaCakeGuy, my journey looked very different. I studied medicine and became a doctor, but eventually realised that the way I wanted to connect with people had changed.
Baking became my creative outlet — a way to express myself, bring people together and create something people could genuinely experience.
🍰 The Free Cake Series - I started approaching strangers and asking: “What cake would you like?” I then bake their chosen cake and give it to them for free.
The series quickly grew online, reaching a much wider audience and turning simple cake giveaways into moments of genuine connection and joy.
💷 £10,000 Raised - Through the support of the DaCakeGuy community, I successfully raised £10,000 towards my dream of opening a bakery in London.
Although £10,000 isn't enough to establish the bakery I envision, it proved something far more important: People believe in the dream.

That support led to the creation of DaCakeFund — a community-powered fund helping me continue giving cakes away while working towards the future DaCakeGasm bakery.
People can donate, nominate someone to receive a cake, share the journey or simply follow along.
🏠 The Bigger Vision
My goal is to create more than a bakery.
I want DaCakeGasm to become a space for exceptional cakes, creativity, workshops, events, community and giving back.
A place where food brings people together and every visit has the potential to create a little joy.
The bakery is the destination.
